Album Art Direction and Design

Taxpayer is the band I spent the majority of my 20’s in. This record of ours happened at a very pivotal time in my life. We got to record with Paul Kolderie (Radiohead, Pixies, Hole), a song from the record was in regular rotation on WFNX (a great, now gone, Boston area radio station), we were getting faint whiffs of interest from some major labels (bands still got signed back then), and I had a job at a place that was really allowing my to enter the next stage of my design abilities.

Through the band, I was really able to hone my skills in a variety of ways. Designing albums, flyers, websites, merch, screen printing posters, etc. Some obviously were more successful than others, but having a subject that always needed creative assets was huge.
